Who Decides Which CPA Projects We Will Fund
Shelburne voters will decide how our CPA money will spent!
Step One
We will create a Shelburne Community Preservation Committee. The composition of this CPA Committee will be established by a Warrant at the 2023 Annual Town Meeting.
Step Two
The CPA Committee will develop a CPA Plan to assess Shelburne's needs CPA-related needs.
Step Three
Each year Shelburne residents will submit project proposals which will be reviewed and evaluated by the CPA Committee. The Committee will seek input from the public and Town boards and committees about each proposal.
Step Four
The CPA Committee recommends CPA projects to the Annual Town Meeting.
Step Five
If Annual Town Meeting approves a project it moves forward. If not, it fails.
