SPIN Farming

SPIN (Small Plot INtensive) Farming is a small farming business concept developed by Wally Satzewich and Gail Vandersteen (in Saskatchewan) and Roxanne Christensen (in Philadelphia). The core idea is sub-acre commercial farming intensively using one or more small parcels of owned or rented land. They have developed a complete system for making such a small operation financially sustainable. Their website, www.spinfarming.com, tells the story. They sell books and chapter-size PDFs that explain the details. We have a copy of their "Basics" manual in the CCRVI LIbrary available for short-term lending.
